The spirituality of begin vegan- A personal sharing

Even though the journey began by being absolutely clueless about veganism and its health benefits, however, I feel that I have arrived at a point in my life where I feel I am content with my food. I don’t see the food to shut down my emotions anymore but access to feel more, feel the wide array of emotions to enrich my spiritual health.

This is an experience I would like to retain for life as this is the first time in my life I feel I can resonate with food choices that honor me.

It has been more than two years since I have turned vegan and I wish to continue because consumption plant-based superfood helped me to connect and be in alignment with nature, the environment, and universal elements. I feel vegan food, which excludes animal-based products, dairy & honey goes beyond just supplying the nutritional benefits but most importantly makes you compassionate towards yourself and other living beings.

The choice of excluding dairy from the diet didn’t limit to a healthy body but a clear mind and stable internal state. The change in the body changed the mind and then helped me connect to my creative spiritual being. Everything around me became slow, clear, and non-judgmental. No wonder it’s also called spiritual food, elevating the mental, emotional and spiritual levels.

For me being vegan is about making the best choices in life, just not limiting to plant-based food but extending it further to plant-based sustainable living.
